The leopard, part of the genus Panthera, has yellowish to dark golden fur with rosettes of dark spots. It is slender and muscular, measuring 92–183 cm in length with a 66–102 cm tail, and stands at 60–70 cm at the shoulder. Leopards can reach speeds of 58 km/h and weigh between 23–27 kg.
