Sterling Silver Plated in 18k Gold Shawu Elephant Head Pendant

One of the magnificent seven of the Kruger Park. Sixth largest tusker on record to come out of Africa. His left tusk weighed 53kgs (116lb), and was 317cm (10ft 5in) long, the longest tusk on record from the park. The right tusk was 305,5cm (10ft) and weighed 51kg (112lb). The length of his tusks indicate that he was either unaggressive or used his tusks with great care. He died naturally in 1982. Life size bronze statue stands in the Lost City at Sun City.
